GENERAL

Q: What are the dates of the 2019 Gridiron Grill-Off Food & Wine Festival?

A: The Gridiron Grill-Off Food, Wine & Music Festival (also referred to as the Grand Grill-Off) will be held during the day on Saturday November 9 th from 12pm-4pm. The BBQ Competition will be held on the same date/time but on a different field separate from the Grand Grill-Off.


Q: Where does the Gridiron Grill-Off Food & Wine Festival take place?

A: Pompano Beach Amphitheater and Park in Pompano Beach, FL.


Q: Where can I park at the event?

A: Parking is FREE! Our parking team and on-site signage will direct you to the parking zones. A parking pass for athletes and sponsors is required to park in designated areas.


Q: Can I bring my child?

A: You CANNOT bring your children less than 21 years of age to the Gridiron Grill-Off Food, Wine & Music Festival. You CAN bring your children under age to the BBQ Pit Master Competition (please see ticketing page for additional information).


Q: What happens if it rains?

A: The event will happen rain or shine! All tickets are non refundable.


Q: Is there a dress code?

A: We suggest comfortable casual attire and comfortable shoes.


Q: What items are prohibited from the event?

A: Security will check all bags at the entrance of the event. Prohibited items include but are not limited to: outside food and beverages, drugs, weapons, large bags or suitcases. No animals will be allowed into the event unless they are certified service animals.


Q: Is the Gridiron Grill-Off friendly to dietary restrictions?

A: We cannot guarantee that participating chefs and restaurants will prepare dishes without common allergens. Typically, all dishes have a protein: seafood and/or poultry.


Q: Is the event ADA accessible?

A: Yes.


Q: What charity does Gridiron Grill-Off support?

A: 100% of the net proceeds benefit Offerdahl’s Hand-Off Foundation and the Home Team Advantage Initiative and also benefits our partnership with Broward College by providing scholarships to local students.

Q: Do I have to pay for food and drinks once I’m inside the event?

A: Your Gridiron Grill-Off Food, Wine & Music Festival ticket purchase ($85- $125) covers all food and beverage consumed at the event. Just bring your appetite and enjoy! Your BBQ Pit Master Competition ticket purchase DOES NOT include food and drinks which are available for purchase at a variety of food and beverage vendors.


Q: When will Gridiron Grill-Off tickets go on sale?

A: Tickets will go on sale in July. You can get weekly and daily updates on our social media channels.


Q: How much are tickets to the Gridiron Grill-Off Food, Wine & Music Festival?

A: General admission tickets at $85 and VIP tickets are $125


Q: What is the difference between general admission and VIP?

A: Both tickets provide access into the event and unlimited food and beverage sampling and a wine glass upon entrance. With the VIP tickets, you have access to a separate area on the event site with seating, shade, food and beverages from the food tents – no waiting in lines!


Q: Can I buy tickets at the door?

A: Yes, you can buy tickets at the door unless we sell out prior to the event.


Q: What is the refund policy?

A: All ticket purchases are final.

GETTING INVOLVED

Q: How can I become a vendor at the Gridiron Grill-Off Food & Wine Festival?

A: To have a space at the event, one must become an official sponsor. The lowest sponsorship level that includes a 10×10 event space is $5,000.

Q: Can I volunteer at the Gridiron Grill-Off Food & Wine Festival?
